Terms of Service

When you register for a shift, you are committing to show up at the scheduled time and location. Your participation is essential to the success of the Poppy Campaign and to supporting veterans in your community.

If you are unable to attend a shift you have booked, you must contact your Location Captain as soon as possible. Contact information for your Location Captain may be found by: Failure to notify your Branch Poppy Chair may negatively impact the campaign and may result in restrictions on future volunteer bookings.

Volunteers must be able to perform their assigned duties safely. Registration is open to all community members; there is no requirement to be a veteran, active military member, or cadet.

Poppieshelp.ca and the local Legion branches are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur while volunteering. Volunteers participate at their own risk.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
